7 Proven Method On How To Be A Good Husband To Save Your Marriage Fast

Wednesday, September 16th, 2009

Husband to be , you are reading this probably you want to know how to be a good husband. Chances are you may find your marriage failing, communication with your wife is getting lesser by the day or you feel that the bonding between you and your wife is no longer strong. Or you are nervous because you are going to get married soon.

Well, all is not lost yet. I share with you some secrets on how you can be a good husband to your wife and save your marriage.

The first and foremost is you have to be a very good. In order to be a good husband, one has to respect and listen to what she has to say. Sometime you may find them nagging and wanted to tell them off, but hold on to your hats. This is not the wise thing to do. Woman tends to be more on the emotional side and will talk more than guys. On top of that, pay absolute attention to what she is saying. This includes having eye contact with her and some verbal prompts to let her know that you are listening to what she is talking.

Next, show your love. You can start off by saying I love you, have a nice day and take care. All these can either be done through text message or sms, emails or even face to face. I suggest you using the latter because these will effectively close the gap between you and your wife.

Start by sharing chores with her. If you feel that you are neglecting this marriage or feel that your wife is communicating lesser and lesser, you can start doing chores with her in the kitchen and spark off a lively topic with her. You can also ask her question on how to vacuum the floor correctly, how to use the dish washer, if you have one at home. All these small little gesture will help you in the long run. Just make sure you do it regularly.

Try doing things together. Mark your calender and plan an outing together to relight the flames of your marriage. This is also the best way to get away from the busy work you had and reduce stress while increase intimacy between both of you.

Forget about your ego. Marriage is two persons living together for the rest of their lives. So forget about your ego. Some woman cannot stand their husband with big ego who throws everything to her. In fact, you are married to a wife that you love and not buying a maid.

Do not stare at other woman. Yes, woman is sensitive. Do not try to stare or look at other woman in front of your wife. This sends a strong signal to her that she is much inferior to the woman you just looked. And this will future leads to fewer communications which leads to a failing marriage.

Try to do anyone of the above today and see the result. You will be amazed. However, if you had tried the above and are not getting any results, then you may want some expert advice and proven save marriage methods that will help you.

Putting Together Family Stories

Tuesday, September 8th, 2009

By following just a few easy steps you can collect family memories at holidays and family reunions. Many of us think that the right opportunity should be planned. Instead of planning ahead, be prepared for any unexpected opportunities to get your family record and traditions. A little thought can help you gather family genealogy as it happens.

The best way to start is to create a family history kit that you can have with you when you visit with your relatives. Here are a few items that you can keep with your to be ready at any time.

* Notebook, pen or pencils
* Pedigree charts
* Copies of some family photographs
* Small digital camera, could be in your phone
* Voice recorder

The contents of your kit can vary based what you have on hand, as long as you have the tools to document your family record. The pedigree charts and pictures act as prompts when you are trying to encourage a relative to share their memories, and keeping a camera and a tape recorder handy helps preserve accurate details. If your cell phone has video, you can use that as well.

Once you have basics ready, it is time to start gathering family memories in small, manageable pieces.

The first step in starting your family genealogy project is to record what you already know, including full names (maiden names), dates and places for births, marriages, and deaths. This outline of your known family tree is an important part of your collecting plan; it provides you with a starting point.

Next, identify the members in your family that seem to know the most family history. Then contact to set up an appointment to talk. This could be a personal visit, a telephone interview, an e-mail interview, or maybe a plan to set some time aside at the next family event.

Develop a list of questions based on the family record you already know so that you can stay focused. The answers will help you fill in the blanks on the family record.

Let family members know that you would like to see the keepsakes, photographs and documents that they have and hearing stories about those items. Keepsakes have special meaning in most families and usually have interesting stories attached to them. You can use those heirlooms to jog memories. A simple family photograph can lead a relative to recount memories about people and events. Try questioning relatives about furniture, jewelry, photographs, documents and even special linens. This is the type of thing that will not show up in most family histories and will add personal interest.

As you start to accumulate memories, be sure to record all your sources and data. If you don’t already own a genealogical software package, now is the time. Not only do they help you organize your notes by creating family group sheets and charts, the programs also come equipped with extra features. Keeping all of the information organized will become more and more important.

When you are asking about memories, remember to ask about the talents of family members as well. In some families, special talents are the basis for a family business. Sometimes, each generation inherits techniques from the generation before.

Traditions are another area important to record and preserve. Every family develops a set of traditions around certain holidays and family events. It can be about foods or the way gifts are exchanged, each family is a little different. Ask why things are done a certain way and how the tradition started. These traditions are clues to the history of your family.

You may be able to learn quite a bit about your family genealogy by visiting the places where your ancestors lived, especially if any family members still live there.

Now that you’ve obtained all of the information about your family history, be sure to put it all together so that your efforts last. Find other family members to help you put together a family genealogy or create a family web page.

As the person documenting each part of a family’s existence, take the time to research the background of the stories, traditions and talents in your family. Dig deeper behind the memories to see other events happening that may have led to these events in order to create a complete picture for all of your family to keep.

‘The Human Family Tree’ uses DNA to trace mankind’s roots to Africa

Sunday, September 6th, 2009

A new special by National Geographic set out to trace the origins of the human race using 350,000 DNA swabs, a joint project between National Geographic and IBM called the Genographic Project. The result is ‘The Human Family Tree’, which illustrates how at least 75 percent of humans came from a single man or woman in Africa tens of thousands of years ago. As resources became scarcer amidst climate change, humans, they posit, moved across Asia and up into Europe, eventually crossing the Bering Strait into the Americas.

A few really interesting tidbits pop up, like a man from Ghana who finds strong traces of European and Asians who find big chunks of Native American. Whether you subscribe to evolution or not, this series should at least pique the curiosity of most family history buffs out there.

The study doesn’t end there. You can submit your DNA to the study by going to their site and ordering a kit. “Where are you really from?” is their tagline. Sounds enticing to say the least.

Over 40 And Wanting A Baby

Wednesday, September 2nd, 2009

Should you get pregnant over 40? You might think this is no big deal. After all, a lot of women have done this successfully. There are even books and how-to guides on getting pregnant over 40 naturally. But are these really true?

As a fertility specialist, I am cynical about some of these claims. This is not to say that they are all incorrect. I just want older women to know that they can still get pregnant over 40, but it can be risky.

If you have willfully decided to delay pregnancy until you hit the big 4-0, then I could not honestly say what your prospects of getting pregnant are. All women are made differently. What is true for most may not necessarily be true for you. The same goes for fertility.

It is a fact that fertility diminishes rapidly once we hit our mid 30s. This fact has been borne out by several studies done on populations of women of different cultures who do not practice any form of contraception.

Although I could quote these fertility facts, take note that these are just trends. In my practice, I have had several women in their 40s who successfully conceived and carried their pregnancies to term with no real impediments. Some of these women were first time mothers. Although their pregnancies were monitored more closely than their younger counterparts, most of these women delivered healthy babies.

Can a woman get pregnant over 40 without need for ovulation induction? It is wise to assume that you still have adequate ovarian reserve as long as you still experience regular, monthly menses. Ovulation may still occur, and pregnancy is still achievable.

Are there natural ways to help one get pregnant over 40? There are hordes of vitamins and supplements available which claim to heighten fertility. Some of the most commonly cited vitamins are the antioxidants A, C, and E. Antioxidants act by reversing or preventing damage wrought by free radicals, thereby slowing the aging process. These antioxidants slow down the effects of aging on the whole body, including our reproductive organs. Thus, it is assumed that they boost fertility and our chances of conceiving successfully.

Herbal supplements containing Vitex, Ginkgo biloba, and Siberian ginseng also claim to boost fertility. The effects of these herbs vary. Some are believed to improve blood circulation to the reproductive organs, thereby improving its overall health. Others are touted to exert direct influence on the levels of the hormone estrogen, thus inducing ovulation. Studies done on small populations of men and women given these herbs showed fantastic results.

Why do women choose to get pregnant over 40? Well, late motherhood has unique rewards. Women usually choose to postpone pregnancy until they have completed their personal and career goals. They wanted to gain financial security.

They may have delayed marriage and childbearing until they have achieved fulfillment in their chosen careers or personal lives. Some of these women have difficult childhood, thus they may want to resolve all their issues and be emotionally mature before having children of their own. Or they simply may have met the right person to share parenthood with late in life.
