Question by theawesomeness: How to find a marriage/Divorce record?
I am needing to find out if a certain person is married or was married then divorced. I have done searches using Bing…”marriage records,” “vital records,” ect. I want to know what is the best site (reliable, not a scam…)
I also have read the ehow on this and it said that marriage records are sent through the mail, as in you have to mail oreder them. I would like to be able to see the information online.
I have been able to find a record of my parent’s marriage, for exaple, and it was very easy and all of the details were available, online and free of charge. The problem is that I cannot remember how I found that in the past haha.
I guess I’m willing to pay a small amount to find out if this other person is married/divorced….. it would have been within 5 years of today’s date.

Some cities and states have all of the public records available online.

But its easier to call court houses or churches to see if they have the marriage record you are looking for on file since not all records are available online. These records must be scanned and input to be available online and many cities are not loading vital records online at this time.
